• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg white
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup maple syrup
• 1/4 cup chopped nuts

1. Mix sugar, syrup and water together and boil to the hard boil stage.
2. Remove, add vanilla and pour hot syrup over stiffly beaten egg white.
3. Add nuts.
4. Beat until stiff enough to hold shape and drop from teaspoon on wax paper.
