Dye Your Easter Eggs the Natural Way
  1. Fill a saucepan with water, onion skins and a white egg. Ask an adult to boil the egg for 30 minutes.
  2. When the water has cooled, sieve out the onion skins, and add a few drops of vinegar to fix the color.
  3. Drain the hard-boiled egg with a slotted spoon and leave it to dry.
  4. Rub vegetable oil on to the shell while it is still warm for a shiny finish
. You may also use beetroot, spinach, turmeric, tea and food coloring to dye Easter eggs.
